Step Inside America's Hometown..."a delightful place"
Humboldt
was founded in 1857. It was for the most part founded by a German Colony organized in Hartford, Conn., named in honor of Baron von Humboldt. Humboldt is a thriving business town, situated in the southwest part of the county, on level valley lands on both the east and west banks of the Neosho River.
Visit the Humboldt Recreation website for more information on activities in Humboldt.
