Cara's third term as Register of Deeds began February 1, 2009 and will continue through January 2013.
She was employed as a clerk in this office January 1997, and served as Deputy January 1998 until December 1999. At that time, her predecessor Jacqueline Webb retired, and Cara was appointed by Governor Bill Graves to serve the rest of the term. Cara's first full term began February 2001.
Users must comply with the Kansas Open Records Statute, KSA 45-230.
All records in this office are open to the public with the exception of the Kansas Real Estate Sales Validation Questionnaire (SVQ) and military discharges, closed by State Statute.
