Biblesta
Held the first Saturday in October in Humboldt, KS since 1957. This event features a parade with a biblical theme, gospel music throughout the day and evening, other activities, food and a free bean feed. Additional information located at:

Farm-City Days Held on the Iola, KS square the third weekend of October. A carnival runs throughout the celebration with a parade, arts & crafts show, car show, entertainment and other special events the day. For more information contact 620-365-7277
Buster Keaton Celebration Held the third weekend of September at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center located in Iola, KS. For more information contact 620-365-4765, or visit:

Humboldt Historic Days
Held the second Saturday of October to share the civil war history of Humboldt, KS. For more information contact 620-473-3414, 620-473-3280, or visit:

Allen County Fair Held the first full week in August at Riverside Park in Iola, KS. Features include a music show, carnival, professional rodeo, demolition derby, livestock and exhibits. For more information contact 620-365-6513
Elsmore Day Held the second Saturday of September in the Elsmore, KS city park. This event features a parade, entertainment and specialty food. For more information contact 620-754-3534
Moran Day Held the third Saturday of September in Moran, KS. This 52 year old celebration features a parade and entertainment. For more information contact 620-237-4487
Bowlus Fine Arts Center Attracts nationally-acclaimed performers to the area. Also houses a fine arts education center. The Bowlus provides display areas for local and visiting artists, while maintaining a permanent collection of distinctive paintings. For more information, visit:

Iola Municipal Band Concert Established in 1871, making it the state's oldest continually performing municipal band. Concerts are held every Thursday evening during the months of June and July on the Iola, KS town square.
Churches Over 20 churches in Iola represent all major denominations and has a supportive Ministerial Association.

Major General Fredrick Funston Boyhood Home & Museum

The Museum Room - at the County Courthouse features changing displays.

Old Jail - Built in 1869, is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Farmer's Market Held on the Iola, KS town square each Saturday morning from 7:30am-10am and Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm from mid-May through September.
