Centered around the two communities of Iola and Humboldt, Allen County hosts a variety of activities for young and old alike, and a number of festivals are hosted for everyone to enjoy. Biblesta
Biblesta has been held in Humboldt, Kansas on the first Saturday in October, every year since 1957. The name is a combination of Bible and Fiesta.

Iola Municipal Band Concert
Veteran's Day Parade
This Veteran's Day memorial service and parade includes a fly-over, memorial service with speaker, musical entertainment, a bean feed and parade located at the Allen County Veteran's War Memorial on the southwest corner of the historic downtown courthouse square.
